Planning 15-minute City for All

Urban practitioners are provided systematic and current perspectives for developing sustainable and equitable mobility solutions, practical skills for local level population projections, spatial segregation, and mobility analysis, and opportunities for knowledge-sharing and co-learning from experiences and planning strategy in different cities. Core topics include business and public service decision-making, family activity space, transport infrastructure availability, and home-workplace, -school, or -leisure destination distribution. Learning outcomes include understanding complex relationships in urban social and spatial structure, mobility systems, location decision making shaping urban opportunity structures, opportunities and limitations associated with home-neighbourhood based urban planning initiatives advocated by the 15-Minute City approach, and skills in addressing population dynamics and segregation with strategies to co-enhance sustainable mobility and urban equity.
